Our Story
Heaps Removals and Storage began its journey in 1948, founded by Michael Heap under the original name, Michael Heap Ltd. After completing his national service, Michael took a bold step forward with a £500 bank loan, setting the stage for what would become a legacy in the removals industry.
Over the next 4 decades, the business expanded to include a fleet of 10 vehicles and several contracts operating in the UK and Europe. Then, in 1994, after enduring a period of financial challenges, Mark and Brigid Heap stepped in, purchasing the business. This allowed the next generation of the Heap family to rejuvenate and propel the company into a new era.
Now, more than 75 years since its inception, Heaps Removals and Storage has flourished into a thriving business operating nationwide. With a modern fleet of removal vehicles, a spacious 12,000sq. ft. storage facility and a dedicated team, we proudly continue our family tradition.
Our commitment to integrity and excellence has remained unwavering and we strive to provide the highest quality service, just as it should be. Today, the third generation of the Heap family, Jack, works alongside Brigid and Mark, ensuring the company continues to innovate and grow as they move the business forward.
